The Law of the Passover
The Hebrews' Call and Deliverance out of Egypt.
A rich  nugget,  packed with foundational  doctrinal  truth,  lies largely   unnoticed,   almost  inci- dental, it would  seem, in the  first verse  of the  eleventh  chapter  of Hosea:  "When Israel was a child, then  I loved  him,  and called my
son out of Egypt."
Take Heed Brethren
        . . . Lest
The present day church and ministry  allegorically  pictured in the life of Saul, first king of Israel.  A  biting   indictment  of  unbelief
and defeat.
Spiritual Baptisms and Gifts
With  biblical  forceps,   this book extracts all the  teeth out of neo-pentecostalism.  "The author has a keen insight  into our great biblical   teaching   about   which many people  have  become con fused.  To read this book will give you a new  insight  to a truth that will    transform   your    life   and church. I heartily recommend it."  Dr.  Jaroy   Weber,    President, Southern    Baptist   Convention (1974-1976).
"How  did you  come to begin  writing  books?"   "Why  do you  write  on such controversial  subjects?"   These are two questions  that are often  asked me.  The answer to both these questions is one:  My writings have been called forth by the appearance  of a pressing  need during the course  of my  preaching  ministry.  God's people desperately need  help in  some areas.   A man can  be in only  one place at a  time;  books  can be  everywhere  at the  same time.  A sermon can be heard  only as it is being preached;  but a book  can be read  and referred to over and over again.   Preaching  must be  listened  to at the time it is  happening,  but books  can be  picked up at  needed  occasions.   A man has to be prepared  for a message;  and very  few of  any  listening  audience  are prepared  at the  time of delivery.
As for  the controversial  nature of  my  books,   I see no need of  writing  on anything else.  If it is necessary,  then it must be controversial.  If it is unneces- sary, then there  can be  only one reason  for writing:  Entertainment and to make money.   If a man is going  to write for this reason,  he should write in some other field than religion.
We yearn  for the  edification  of saints.  "I have  great  conflict  for you" (Col. 2:1);  "We  desire  that you  might be  filled  with  the  knowledge of his  will in all  wisdom and  spiritual  understanding"  (Col. 1:9);  We  warn "lest  any  man  should beguile you with enticing words."  These are the emotions wrought by the Holy Spirit  in the  holy  men  who wrote  the epistles,  and they  ought  to be  the motivations of any man who has anything to say to the people  of God in his time.

Faith Cometh
Most  of what  is  preached today  as  faith  is nothing  more than   promotion,  carnal  desire, egotistical ambition, presumption or  outright  unbelief.   Read  this startling,   yet  richly   rewarding recovery  of true biblical faith.  "I highly  recommend  this  book."  Jon  Zens,  Baptist  Reformation Review.
